A successful Grade 1 and Grade R Orientation Day took place last week. We welcomed 72 Grade One learners and 40 Grade R learners into our school. Morningside Primary made history in having our first Grade R Orientation Day since our establishment / opening in 1928. Thank you to our General Assistants who helped put together cupboards, painting, laying down astro-turf using gabion effects, expertly paving the surroundings and working on weekends and late into the evenings to ensure that the Grade R units were ready for Orientation Day, whilst guaranteeing that our school saved funds by not needing contractors. “God bless you!”
